Cross-platform companion apps for environmental data loggers

The client builds rugged environmental data loggers — sensors used in environmental science, agriculture, water quality, cold-chain logistics and facilities management.

We built and continue to extend their companion software estate: a full-featured cross-platform app for configuring, monitoring and managing loggers over Bluetooth and USB, plus a newer lighter companion app on the same foundation.

One codebase reaches Android, iOS, Windows and Mac, driving a protocol layer that speaks to well over 60 logger models, a bulk-operations engine letting one person manage a whole fleet at once, and a direct pipeline into the client cloud platform — including supporting their migration to a next-generation backend without disrupting existing customers.
